I prefer every day in the AM, with the caveat that you send late-breaking news, later in the day, when warranted.
Two a day on "normal' news days can be a lot, but if you have something important to share, by all means, send a second, focused e-news whenever that hits.
I will echo Ann's comments. I prefer a daily AM version. If there is a later breaking story that you determine merits an update that's great, but otherwise one is sufficient.
Daily AM emails are great. If there is breaking news in the afternoon emails are most appreciated. Take time for yourself Ryan, you provide a wonderful service to our beloved City by the Sea. Thank you for all you do.
Weekdays in the AM is fine for me, perhaps with the proviso that if a truly newsworthy event occurs on the weekend a “ Special Edition” news story would be welcome.

Thursday and/or Friday letter could be beefier, with a weekend section. You deserve the weekends off!

I think twice a day is kind of a waste. Same info. Daily AM please.
