Really cool…just wish it was more “open” to townspeople to be able to see in and experience a cool moment in the town…overall very well run and professional…what about a JPT premiere?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Utter pain in the neck. I live right behind the square. The worst thing are the outrageous tourists with their deadly little phone cameras, standing around in tightly-packed gobsmacked coveys in the middle of skinny Touro Street, forcing one to walk into the horn-blowing car traffic. The crew has been friendly and good-humored, though. (Which is more than you can say of ME.)

It would be wonderful if Newporters we're allowed to view the filming in our own backyard. . Not very often we get to watch The Devine Ms M do her thang ! Oh yes the others too 😁 what's wrong with a few pictures ?

It was great to see this off-season focus on Newport. The disappointment was they clearly will show little of Newport. They just set up their sets in Eisenhower Park, they could have filmed anywhere. Perhaps in the future allowing studios to take over the town should be limited to productions that actually plan to use Newport as a backdrop.
